District of Columbia – Changes to Two-Year Report Filings

Beginning in 2012 The District of Columbia Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs (DCRA) has changed its Two-Year Report filing requirement and procedures. The changes include the following:

  • All entity types will be required to file reports the year after registering in DC and every two years thereafter on April 1st.
  • Reports otherwise due for non-profit corporations on January 15th will not be required until April 1, 2012.
  • Limited Partnerships and Business Trusts are now required to file Two-Year Reports beginning April 1, 2012.

Revocations will take place on the first Monday of September if the Two-Year Report has not been filed for that report year.
