COVID-19 JURISDICTION UPDATES:

AZ SOS has suspended expedited services for UCC Filings, UCC11 Certified Searches and UCC Copies. Un-certified Searches and Routine Services remain available. AZ SOS Counter service suspended (UCC, partnerships, apostilles, notarizations, trade names/trademarks). Online services, Drop Box, mail, UPS, FedEx remain available. Expect processing delays. AZ ACC (Corporation Commission – corporations & LLCs) – Counter service suspended. Limited staffing, expect delays. Drop Box, online services, mail, FedEx, and UPS remain available.

Counter service has been suspended. Routine and Expedited Services have been suspended. Staffing reduced to essential personnel only. The Department of Business Services anticipates being closed through April 30, 2020. No mail or hard copy paper filings will be processed during the closure. Online services remain available but delayed. Annual Report due date extended by at least 30 days after the office reopens, and penalties are being waived. IL notaries have been granted temporary authority to perform remote, online notarizations.

Counter service suspended (no appointments permitted). Limited hours of operation are 9am – 1pm. Phone lines have limited staffing or are only accepting voicemails. Online service and mail/FedEx/UPS remain available. Expedited Service fees are being waived for online filings. Annual Report/Personal Property Return filing date extended from April 15 to July 15 for all entities. All expiration and renewal dates, including name reservations, trade names, and entity forfeiture dates, extended to 30th day after date on which state of emergency is terminated.

Division of Corporations: Counter service suspended. Online services, fax requests & Filings, mail, FedEx, UPS remain available. 2-hour and Same Day filings are being processed with evidence the next day. Next Day filings will take 3-4 days. Limited staffing, expect delays. Online services remain available. The SOS Office in NYC for Apostilles is CLOSED.

County Clerks Offices: Many have either suspended counter service or closed entirely. New York County, Bronx and Nassau County Clerks are CLOSED.

NY Department of Education, Office of Professions: Are not taking Phone calls at this time. Currently still accepting consent requests, for Professional companies, via mail. Focused primarily on the medical professionals; but, handling all 54 professions under their jurisdiction. There should not be any significant increases in the timeline for consent; however, it should be noted that Prior to Covid-19 changes the Consent process was taking between 6-8 weeks; it is unclear how that timeline will be affected.

Counter service has been suspended. Expedited services is not available at this time. Online service, mail, UPS, and FedEx remains available. Dept of Revenue is extending all business tax licenses and certifications which are set to expire until further communication is received from the department. PA Office of General Counsel has waived the in-person service requirement on SOP and will accept service by email or mail during the COVID-19 outbreak. Deadline to file PA Tax Returns extended – returns due by April 15 have been extended to July 15; returns due by May 15 have been extended to August 14.
