Accumera’s Response to Covid-19: Measures Taken, Concerns & Continued Business

I would like to provide you with an update on how we, at Accumera, are addressing the challenges and safety concerns of COVID-19.

We hope all of our clients and friends are able to stay safe & healthy during these strange times. Accumera considers the safety of our clients and employees our highest priority. As a small company, we understand that situations like this can be a hardship. However, we also know that business must go on. Accumera will remain open to assist you in any way that we can.

We have been taking measures for some time that allow us to be well equipped to handle a situation of this nature and will continue to reduce any additional risk to clients, colleagues, and others that we interact with. Thankfully, the employees of Accumera are currently in good health. However, should an employee become ill, they will be asked to stay home. In the extreme case that we have to close our physical office we do have the ability for employees to work from home.

The additional safety/sanitation efforts we are utilizing are in accordance with the current guidelines provided by leading health authorities and experts. We will continue these measures and track any suggested changes set forth by these authorities. We have also confirmed with our vendors that they are taking the appropriate measures as well.

A few things to note…
Some states have closed their walk-in services, but most have provided alternative means to submit any required filings, documents, etc. Knowing this and how to proceed is something we are always on top of and will continue to be. There are other methods of handling needed filings and we will continue to utilize them as necessary. We will continue to keep our clients updated with any changes that affect a filing or services they need.

Further, there may be potential issues with the delivery of original documents as we cannot predict what measures delivery services (Fed-Ex & USPS) may take. Should our physical office close we may be unable to ship. However, this should not be overly burdensome as we have digitized most of our process and already send digital copies of most documents in addition to the physical documents.
